Virtual Reality Gives is located in Thalwil, Switzerland on Seestrasse 125. Virtual Reality Gives is rated 3 out of 5 in the category civic & social organization in Switzerland. We are developing our international community, connecting the digital with people and offline projects globally in order to share skills and knowledge about the meaningful and equitable use of new technology and its practical applications. By means of complementary e-learning sessions, members contribute by sharing their knowledge in manifold knowledge areas to raise knowledge of co-members. Through this personal face-to-face, intercultural exchange, besides valuable skill acquisition, the comprehension for different realities of life and concrete problems should be raised, and in the spirit of knowledge-sharing and practical action, concrete goals should be achieved. To this end VRG organizes or partners with offline projects (projects, workshops, conferences, presentations, volunteer service, tours, and so on), in order to allow members to apply their (new) skills to make concrete project impact and change lives everywhere. With our Virtual Reality Gives Glass Project we are building a sustainable circle- evironemental friendly, social and artistic. Street-waste is collected by "recicladores" and recycled into VR Cardboards (Google Cardboard Model). They are then painted by street artist in unique designs. 40% of the profit of sales go directly back to the street collectors and artist. In addition we are running a workshop where 30 young women receive psycho-social aid as well as a financial training program, helping to improve their income and management of their resources to support their families.
