Solid. This is a British style kebab and one that tastes good even when sober. It's not that level of kebab that uses homemade breads and sauces, fried vegetables etc, it's just not the right market for that....'if it works, don't try fix it'. The meat and salad are both well seasoned and fresh with a broad selection of sauces. The waiting time was about 50minutes, I've only been once however, and that was on a Friday evening so perhaps it will vary. Come to think of it the waiting time felt like part of the overall experience and added to the vibe. If people wanted to keep themselves hydrated or warm during the wait, there are a variety of pubs along the high street. I understand there is also an online pre-order option for those who prefer the efficiency. Is this kebab worth crossing counties for? For sure! Regularly? Not so sure. None the less a proud landmark of the village.

Based on the other reviews, the food must be good. But don't be mistaken, this isn't a traditional 'take away', it's more of a click and collect type of service. I got there in the rain, and waited 15mins to get the place my order. Once placed I was told the wait time was an HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. Unsurprisingly I said i'd leave it, as I only wanted a couple of portions of chips. The lady revised the wait down to 15 minutes, however after a 20 minute wait in the rain (35 minutes total), I just went to the chippy next door and was on my way in 5.

Always had excellent food & service from here. Plenty of variety on menu. Premises look clean & well maintained. Order food in advance if you are unable to wait fot it to be cooked. It is very busy at times which I think speaks for itself.

Delicious meat and fresh salad. Very friendly customer service. Food really good! About 30 minutes awaiting time as it was busy. But take way without fork? ;(
