We have been going to That Dapper Pet ever since we moved to Bloomington in 2015. The quality service is top notch and our dogs are always lovingly cared for when they are there. I recommend this shop all the time to my friends with pets.

We love Dapper Pets. We know that our puppy considers it her second home and is so well cared for. She loves Dapper and the grooming is amazing. Elsa always looks great and always has an extra special touch. She loves our fur baby just as much as we do and we are thankful for such a great place. I’ve been a groomer for awhile & a part of the pet industry even longer. I’ve never been in such a warm and welcoming environment until this place. Putting the pets well-being first has always been something I’m passionate about & i even left places that didn’t share the same but Amy is one of the first people I’ve worked for who’s shared the same passion. Also one of the first people I ever felt I could genuinely trust with my own pets (they are my babies). I love working here and getting to see all the love and heart that can be a part of the grooming experience. Getting to work with your pets and provide the knowledge that I know to help is something that will always warm my heart. I finally found a place and crew I could whole heartedly be proud to work for.
My dog is in the best hands with Amy and her crew! I got a Goldendoodle as they are low shedding, but I never realized how high maintenance his coat would be! Amy has helped to keep his coat long, fluffy, tangle-free and in the cut we love with regular grooming and brushing. Without her professional help, he'd be shaved all the time! Amy takes the time to teach you how to care for your pets at home, with great tips on techniques to use and the right tools for each pet. Not only is Amy a gifted groomer, she genuinely cares for our dog as if he were her own. Cosmo is always happy to see Amy for a spa day and play with the other pups at daycare. His excitement and complete lack of anxiety about going to the groomer speaks volumes about the excellent care he gets at That Dapper Pet.
Today was my dog Chip’s first visit. First I want to highlight the fact Amy was able to get him in on such short notice and provide me with options rather then turning me away. That alone immediately set the tone for the experience. The customer service in general was outstanding. Everything clearly explained. Education about different add on’s. Keeping me posted on how he was doing. Those small things truly add up and are just a portion of what sets this location apart from other groomers. I have never had my dog look and feel this amazing. He’s been groomed multiple times, but never like this. His coat is so shiny and soft. He smells incredible. I can defiantly tell his hair is not shedding like it would just from a simple pet. But what impacted me the most was how my dog was when i picked him up and upon arriving home. Normally after the groomers he is slightly anxious and it’s almost as if he is mad at me. This was totally different. He was relaxed and just overall seemed happy/refreshed! I am so excited to continue going to That Dapper Pet on a regular basis and I cannot be more thankful Amy was able to squeeze me in which resulted in me finding the perfect groomer for my dog that I would recommend to anyone hands down. Not to mention the tie he came home in!! The cutest thing ever!! I am actually looking forward to bedtime now with how great he smells since he sleeps so close to me.
Horrible experience! Multiple reasons! There are way better groomers that are actually nice to your dogs and appreciate the customer. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE!
