I had previously engaged Joel and his team in installing some new bathrooms 3 years ago. There remained the downstairs cloakroom WC to do and this has now been completed. It was worth the wait. Attention to detail from Joel and his team was excellent. He obtained my input throughout the installation in respect of how exactly I wanted the bathroom to look. The tiling last time was top quality (Steve - a master tiler), and this time by Joel was also excellent. All completed on time and on budget with an excellent finish.

Unbelievable how many trades people first of all don’t get back to you, some do but don’t even quote. I contacted Joel through Worcester Bosch as wanted a new boiler that offered a 10 year guarantee. He came out to look at the job within days, was on time and provided a quote the same day. I had lots of questions which he answered over email each time. In terms of the work carried out. First of all extremely tidy, wore a face covering the whole time and left no mess what so ever. Once the boiler was fitted he explained how it all worked including setting up a Google Nest for our new controls. The best is yet to come. Due to how our system had been wired previously, for 15 years we were unable to run the central heating on its own the hot water had to be on. We could not rewire the system from scratch as we had converted the loft, therefore rewiring the connection form boiler to airing cupboard without ripping off the walls was not an option. There were far too many wires and somewhere in the loft space there would have been a connector block which meant it could not be pulled out and rewired. Joel stuck at it like a dog with a bone and did what no British Gas engineer had been able to do over 15 years being on a service contract. They had all said it was not able to be fixed and we would just have to live with it. After testing each wire that had been left behind by the cretin that had wired our system before we bought the property we are now able to control our heating and water inside in separately. Would whole heartedly recommend Green Heating And Renewables. Look no further. This is the man with a van you should choose...
Our boiler broke down unexpectedly but despite lengthy attempts by Worcester Bosch to resuscitate it was beyond repair and needed a replacement. It was 12 years old so it wasn't a big surprise. Previous experience with plumbers and heating engineers filled me with fear at the prospect of finding a company that was available at short notice, understood the urgency, was knowledgeable and charged honest prices. I fished around on the internet for a local company. With teeth chattering and blood pressure rising I telephoned Green Heating and firstly was surprised to be able to speak to a person without going through 7 levels of menu only to be asked to leave a message. I spoke to Joel Guy who further surprised me by saying he could take a look the next day (Friday). He was delayed slightly but I was kept up to date by Lili in the office. Joel arrived took a quick look to assess what what was required and left. He sent me a quotation the same day and said that if I accepted the price the new boiler could be installed on Tuesday. Well before this turns into War and Peace let me sum up by saying that bang on time on Tuesday morning Joel and his assistant arrived to commence removal of the old boiler while they waited for the replacement to be delivered. We now have a shiny new boiler. The installation was carried out in a professional, efficient and tidy manner. The attention to detail was impressive. No drama. No not having all the correct parts. No mess. In fact I think they left us tidier when they left than we were before. All the rubbish was whisked away without trace. The system was given some magic juice the improved efficiency and we are now warm again. Middle of March is not a good time to have no heating.. I needn't have worried. Everything was taken care of with no upheaval, no fuss and no drama. Green Heating and Renewables Ltd are highly recommended. Forget the rest I know where I'm going for my next boiler.
From the off, Joel demonstrated a high level of professionalism - responsive, timely and clean working. He made suggestions to move the boiler to a better, less intrusive, location which has freed up valuable space in my rather bijou kitchen. Joel and his team were personable individuals who worked flat out to get the job done and the new boiler up running same day. Highly recommended !
Asked Joel to quote for boiler service and replacement of radiators along with replacing a heavily corroded drain point on the central heating pipework. Quote was quick and thorough and was able to split it to do the radiators at a later date as he was available to service the boiler the following week. Joel and his colleague arrived promptly at the time they said they would and let me know the timing of everything before starting so they could work around my conference calls. Super efficient, super clean and tidy. Additionally spotted and repaired a leak on the water tank as well as properly fitting an outside tap that had been spliced in by the previous home owners at some point. Available afterwards on text as I spotted other little bits to assess if it was a problem and to potentially get them back for when the radiators are fitted. Definitely using again.
Fitted a Combi for my Mum, did a great job, she was very impressed all round.
Joel provided excellent service from the moment I requested a quote till the air conditioning unit was installed. I highly recommend Green Heating & Renewables! All round excellent service!!!
We have relied on Joel for a couple of years now for all our heating issues. He is always courteous and is very skillful and we definitely recommend him.
