Avoid avoid avoid! Bought 2 brand new fridges which cost thousands just over 2 years ago. Called company out within months because fridges started playing up! Luckily was in warranty! Recently one fridge started playing up again. Spw with local engineer after numerous calls to acme and getting no where who told me looks like the compressor has gone. Bare in mind this was a brand new fridge 2 years ago only to have the MAIN part of the fridge to stop working is sickening. And very conveniently for acme “it’s unfortunate and is out of warranty!!” Thats what ive been told by the decision maker today! Not to sure what im going to do moving forward as my business has been affected by restrictions so cant afford a new compressor however seems like as long as acme have their money they don’t really care! Crooks. Avoid no matter how fancy their website is or how persuasive their sales team might be because they will leave you in the lurch! And to the director’s if you want to talk about it you know where i am!

Acme very helpful to us when we were looking to replace our multi-deck fridges. Our shop is quite small compared to most so we thought we may find it difficult to get suppliers to bother with us. We sought advice from a number of potential suppliers but Acme came out on top in terms of response, service and price. We were kept updated as our order was processed and the installation team were mindful of our need to keep trading. Overall it was a very positive experience from start to finish. We will be seeking their advice for future developments in our project.

I decided to get Acme to fit aircon in my pub and was prepared to pay more to a reputable firm for a good job. What a mistake that was. Got fitted with 2 units not fit for purpose which cost 3300 VAT. They get blocked every other time they are used,had many call outs during the first 12 months for a short term fix, now the warranty has expired and the manager says i have to pay for someone to come out and fix the same problem they have been 'fixing' all year. Not happy as I have spent a lot of money on machines that do not work and they couldn't care less. Off the back of advise i am now considering legal action as the phrase 'not fit for purpose' is an important factor and they have refused to deal with the issue. Thanks Acme!

The Cotton Tree - Failsworth May 2018 Had a full cooling system fitted to cellar on Friday 18 May this year by The Acme Facilities Group. Two engineers arrived at 8am as promised, on time. They had to remove the old system and install the new one which did take all day as previously advised. The engineers worked very cleanly, efficiently and effectively to get the system up an running in time for three o clock opening. In addition, I would like to say that they conducted themselves very professionally at all times and nothing was too much trouble. They took the time to explain everything that was done and how it worked plus, they took away all the packaging they had brought as well as the parts they had removed. I would recommend this company and these engineers to anyone looking for a similar job and have no problem in giving a personal recommendation if somebody is at all unsure of who to engage for this type of work. If your fridge is faulty as in refrigeration area, this company cannot repair will give you a astronomical repair estimate and huge turnaround time. Also do not carry refrigerant on van that's another book in and time and cost. Electrical breakdown in fridge they can fix with cheap new part that will last 14 month. If your fridge is faulty buy a new one101 please!!!! No need to call acme. Acne cannot repair your fridge if in the area of cooling, only poss electrical area can be fixed. Please remember this before you part with money or call them.
