First time every getting acupuncture. Was referred by a good friend. Having a fear of needles before going in made me nervous. Dr. Barrett was extremely knowledgeable and nice. He explained where the location of the pins and effect it would have on my body. I had lower back issue and was shocked to see pins in the hand released the pressure in the lower back. He did other techniques as well for my back. I was given a button to ring in my 20 min. state of relaxation with pins throughout my back. Dr. Barrett said if i needed anything to ring the portable button I had while laying face down. Of course being curious, I rang the button one time. Dr. Barrett response time for the button was fast. After my treatment I felt better and couldn't believe what small little pins could do to the body. Their are two types of pins. Smaller one for females and bigger one for males. Due to me being afraid of needles. I choose the female pins. It didn't hurt and was able to relax knowing their was pins in me. Next time I'll try the male pins. I highly recommend Dr Barrett for acupuncture he made me a believer.

I had several appts now. Office very clean and staff very nice. Dr Barrett is extremely knowledgeable. I had severe carpal tunnel on my left hand could not even drive with my hand. After two treatments I was able to drive with my left hand. I could not believe how much it worked. I highly recommend Dr Barrett for acupuncture he made me a believer.
