We have just adopted an older dog with the help of the centre. They were attentive to detail and keen to make sure the adoption worked for us and the dog. I walked him several times before we brought him home and this has really helped. He is our second rescue and this has been a fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable.

We recently (i.e. during the pandemic but out of lockdown) adopted a rescue kitten. Viewing was easy to arrange and the volunteers were knowledgeable about the cats available. The centre itself is very nice and the cats are kept in clean cages in a large room. The adoption process took a lot longer than I expected (about a month in all) and it wasn't too clear what was going on during this time but once a decision was made, all the paperwork etc was completed quickly and professionally. We really couldn't be happier with our little cat and I would highly recommend adopting from ARC.

Only dropped off some old quilts. Didn't see anybody but there are bins for things they need Food would be a good Xmas present here.
