If I did not accept a job across the street from the complex I would not live here. The staff is rude. The water is always off or cold. The heat is never working. Maintenance does a horrible job. They loose your rent all the time and send you eviction notices even though you’ve paid your rent. The regional manager of the property acts as if she does not know what’s going on; bull. The leasing agents either ignore your calls or make you feel like a nuisance. Save your time and money. Look somewhere else and live stress free.

I usually never write a review for anything. After today, I have to. I was having a terrible day with the repairs to my apartment, waiting for maintenance to arrive. I was very upset, and they sent over Ra'mon to check a leak and I must say I am no longer upset. He is very nice, respectful, and professional. Also, whenever I call the leasing office, I am delighted when Jackie picks up the phone. She is sweet, professional, and NEVER has an attitude! Very helpful! They are great employees at Canterbury!

Do not sign a lease here. I often find myself wondering what the 1,100 a month I pay to them each month gets me. The washers and dryers never work; the cards will stop working and take your money and then the leasing office will not refund you. There are mice. The plumbing doesn’t work and water is OFTEN shut off for hours. Rules are not followed and dogs are allowed in apartments they are not supposed to be; so I hope you don’t have any allergies! When the issues are brought to leasing office’s attention, it is often said, “We’ll look into it,” and then it is never looked into and your problems never get solved. If you call to follow up on a problem, most of the time you’re essentially told, “There is nothing we can do.” The apartments look very nice in pictures and even the model they walk you through, but don’t be fooled. This place will not appropriately accommodate you in anyway. There are several other apartment complexes in the area that are nice and you will actually get the services you pay for each month. I wish I would have signed a lease at one of those instead of Canterbury.

I would SKIP this place all together. Lived here for 2 years. Noisy neighbors, worn out and non working washers and dryers, poorly maintained apartments and property. While a resident there trying to get a call back from the management office was impossible and when you did expect to get some snot with an attitude. Fast forward I lost my job through no fault of my own, had to relocate out of state for a new position, tried to work with them, but received a huge bill and a collection account for made up charges they seemed to pull from thin air. I have filed a complaint with the MD attorney general. If I don't get results through that medium, my next step is a lawsuit. Two words:. SKIP IT!
