I previously posted a pretty nasty review of this place under a different account, one that I can no longer log into for some reason. While the amount of security here is a little unnerving, I definitely understand the reasons behind it. Truth be told, I like living here! Sometimes I wave at the security cameras. My sincerest apologies to management and staff at The Avenue. I have no idea what got to me when I wrote that other review.

Small Wood Big Problems. DO NOT RENT HERE! Over priced, under quality, had roaches in my apartment. Conveniently they also forgot to mention that a girl went missing here. Lauren Spierer. Management was been horrible to deal with.

Shame! Shame! Shame! My son rented these apartments and due to covid-19 vacated on April 3. They still charged the electricity and rip off convenience fees and rent until the July 25 lease end. Shame on them to charge extras when people didn't use the apartment and shame to charge full rent when they know people moved out and not using the facility. Watch out there are lots of extra charges! This place is more expensive than campus Dorms!

My son has been there this year, which is now finished on campus. I have noticed elevators not working when I have visited him. The fitness center is closed now and the mess from construction has made this a poor experience. Couple it with unwillingness to negotiate any sort of lease buyout when students were recommended to leave campus. I guess if you are looking for a place that is not maintained, does not keep its promised amenities operational and is disinterested in its renters, this would be the place for you.
