My partner and I had dinner here on our one and only night in Stirling as part of a roadtrip around Scotland. The staff were brilliant, friendly and just the right amount of attention for a really enjoyable meal. We booked our table quite late in the day and the manager was very accommodating. We ordered one of the sharing platters as a starter, followed by the fish and chips and a steak with the whiskey, onion sauce and haggis. They were big portion sizes so in hindsight we would've gone for just the mains on their own but it was all delicious and fantastic value for money. Highly recommend!

I had a very pleasant dinner with colleagues at the restaurant, the food was really great quality and as you can see, the dessert was a real killer (it is a vanilla sponge).

Rarely give 5 stars but this place is worth it, I'm going to lead this review by saying \Best Burger in Stirling\!! It was truly amazing, never had anything like it. Beef burger with bacon and cheese, not greasy but very juicy. I also had a Nacho starter which was a meal in it's own right and also, very tasty. Staff were excellent and very friendly without being overbearing. Will 100% be back for another burger. Well deserved 5 stars and I urge you to go to The Birds and The Bees

Took the family here on a wee trip down from Aberdeenshire, booked a week in advance as I knew it would be busy with the \eat out to help out\ being a Monday night. The bar area and front of the restaurant has a lovely country pub feel. We were seated in a little room at the back which was quite cosy but there was a little draught from the doors to the outside area. The menu is nice and varied with something for all tastes, our drinks arrived quickly but we did have a 40-50 minute wait for our food (though it was busy) and my daughter fish was a little delayed than the rest of our meals but came out within an extra 2 mins. Everyone's meals were delicious, if we had one minor issue it was that the beef steak pie was SUPER salty on first taste but it did mellow out into a nice ale gravy when eaten with the pastry and veg, however the beef was beautifully cooked and tender. I had the chicken with haggis in a bacon/cream/whisky sauce which was very moreish and I couldve ladeled that sauce into my gob with abandon. We asked to see the dessert menu, as I had looked it up online and decided on a dessert with lemon curd on pastry with meringue, unfortunately the menu on the day was slightly different and that wasn't an option. My youngest took and ice cream cone \for the road\ and all-in-all we all left pretty happy and would definately return. Due to the \eat out to help out\ discount we had 3 mains, a kids meals and 4 drinks, 50.80 down to 25.40 which was icing on the cake.
