Brian and his wife, Maria have wonderful personalities, amazing customer service, and an immaculately clean facility . After a five day board & stay training program, Shadow, our 90 lb. Silver Labrador is back home and what an amazing difference in his behavior from one week ago. Not only is he listening ten times better to given commands, he is actually doing them.) No more surprise knock downs from his constant jumping or gashes in our arms from his playful mouthing. He stays calm while playing and is now anxious to listen and learn. I do believe it as Brain said, Shadow now understands that I am the leader of the pack and listens with confidence and respect. We are so pleased with Brian and his approach to training our Shadow. If you want someone who not only loves dogs but really understands your dog's behavior issues and more importantly also knows how to correct those issues, then we highly recommend Brian at The Canine Academy. Canine Academy is great! We can enjoy our vacations and family events again worry-free again knowing our German Shepherd is in great hands. We were recommend to Brian from our breeder after not getting great signals from the first place we took him to board (lost weight, not excited to go in when he arrive, loose stools after pickup, etc.) At first we weren't sure if it was separation anxiety or the facility.. but what a difference after we tried taking him here. He actually gets excited to see Brian and excited to run in the play yard when he arrives. Super clean facility and very large indoor / outdoor kennels gives even our 90 pound shepherd plenty of space when he isn't out in the play area. While we come in from Tampa to bring him, I'll take the drive every time knowing he is enjoying his 'vacations' now as much as we do!

Brian is a genius! We bought our border collie from Brian 8 years ago and benefited from his training as well. We live in Tampa but he's well worth the drive! I highly recommend him to everyone! In fact, we're getting ready to work with him with a new puppy that he helped us find and adopt.

We've utilized Canine Academy's (Brians) services for years. He, his family and staff treat our pooches like their own. How do we know? When we make the turn onto Golf Club Blvd our two 80 lb pups get really excited. By the time we pull into the Canine Academy driveway they can hardly contain themselves. The facility is clean and well maintained. Brian and his family take great pride in making sure their guests are relaxed, comfortable and having fun, which in turn, allows us to relax and have fun. We know our pooches are in good hands. When we pick them up they are always in good spirits and they've had a bath. Canine Academy rates are very reasonable.
