Liz, Sharon and the staff are always welcoming and have given and continue to give my children so much, my children have gained independence and self confidence. Their ethos is based on child lead learning. Each child is treated as an individual and praised for their own merits. I have worked in education for a long time and feel that The Children's Room has the right balance of applying the curriculum with focused learning and allowing children to develop at their own pace through purposeful play by also giving them real life experiences.Their open door feel is welcoming. I would choose The Children's Room every time and will always recommend them. We love it there.
Lovely friendly professional nursery. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, the children are happy. I knew my two boys would love it there from their first visit. My eldest has thrived from the Montessori approach, becoming confident and independent. There is also a lovely outdoor space where the children spend as much time as possible.
My children are always really happy going in, and coming out of this nursery. The staff are all really friendly and you can tell they make an effort with every child they look after. My daughter has really come out of her shell since attending the nursery. The resources are fantastic, with lots of variety and choice for the children, and it has really calm and tranquil vibe.
My son's been going since he was 9months old and has developed amazingly since. He has become a very social and independent character, with lots of determination. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and my son is always happy and excited to go to them. The setting itself is always bright and airy and facilitates the Montessori principles of education. I would definitely recommend The Children's Room to anyone in the area.
