A local \go to\ for us. Fantastic staff, fantastic drinks! One of my favourite Old Fashions in the city. The menu is small, but impactful. The burger is delicious. This is often the place my partner and I go to for a cocktail and a quick bite to eat. If you haven't been , you're missing out. Treat yourself, and go here for a drink!

Great vibe and atmosphere here with awesome drinks, service and food. The Comrade burger is the best burger in the city.
Unfortunately, really bad service from a male waiter sporting a shaggy beard. He seemed caught up with a party at the other end of the row of curbside tables from where we were sitting. The result was he was seldom passing by our table. When he was he never let his glance fall in our direction. We couldn't grab his attention to order a glass of wine so we finished our meal and tried to get his attention to pay. No success until I called out to him. I then received a dressing down for being disrespectful. When we left he was back totally engaged with his friends' table. Thank goodness for the good humoured service from a female staff member. I suggest any disrespect emanated from the bearded one in ignoring his customers. I will be walking on by anytime I see he is on shift.
I loved the ambiance of this unique little pub\ estaurant. The cocktails were inventive and I only had the burger but liked how it was presented and it was good.
