Our contractor used this company to put in polished concrete floors throughout our new build property. All went well to start with, the job seemed to progress well, conditions were perfect on the day and our main contractors followed their instructions for protecting and drying out to the letter. When they came back and did the actual polishing several months later it was clear there was a serious problem. They initially blamed our contractors but fortunately we had photographed and videoed every stage of the build so could prove that our contractors had done exactly as they’d been advised. We gave them every opportunity to identify what had caused the issue and come up with solutions. We are not difficult people and in no way were we expecting a perfect finish but having spoken to several experts including engineers, architects and concrete experts, they all said the same thing “there was a problem with the mix”. All over the floor were light coloured circular cracks, it appeared to be a problem with the concrete. Having initially said they would do everything they could to ensure we were happy with the final result they disappeared. They wouldn’t answer emails or phone calls and the only further contact was to our contractor who was given the final bill. We asked for it not to be paid until we were satisfied but the contractor was threatened with court action so understandably paid it. We found our own solution and can now live with the results but only after extremely lengthy and painstaking touching up. We sealed it ourselves and just hope we have no further problems. The Concrete Flooring Contractors never came back to us at all, they just got their money for an appalling job and disappeared. So, sadly, and this pains us to do this because we are huge supporters of local businesses - we would absolutely NOT recommend this company.

Cannot rate this company enough! We had our living room, kitchen and patio concreted with a polished finish and it looks amazing! I was amazed at how quick these floors can be installed and these guys beat any other quote I got by a mile and the results were outstanding! They explained everything perfectly to me before hand and was very polite and informative and clear talking unlike some contractors! If you have ever thought about having your floor as polished concrete I strongly recommend you go for it, you won't regret it, especially with these guys!

We've just had a polished concrete floor installed and have been really impressed at every stage. Their price was very competitive, the floor looks amazing (thanks George and the team) and Jess in the office is super organised, efficient and a credit to the company. We've project managed and acted as the builder on our extension project so we've had to deal with numerous trades and services. The contractors are definitely one of the best and we were thrilled to see one of their floors featured on Grand Designs house of the year.

Highly unprofessional. I arranged two separate appointments to have these guys come and look at my existing concrete floor to see if it could be polished. For both appointments I had to arrange days working from home and had to move meetings etc. On both occasions no one arrived at the agreed time. The first time I called and was told that they had forgotten the appropriate equipment (but had not felt the need to let me know). On the second occasion I called and an hour after someone was meant to arrive they could still not tell me that anyone was even coming, yet alone when they would arrive. There are many firms offering concrete floors in London at very similar rates so I cut my losses at this point. I'd advise looking for an alternative provider who respects your time is willing to acknowledge mistakes, perhaps even provide an apology.
