We hired Joan and her team of designers and tradespeople to redesign and renovate our master bathroom, guest bathroom and powder room. Right from the initial consultation, Joan inspired our confidence in her experience, professionalism and creativity. She noted our style preferences in creating her designs, and was flexible about changes and finding areas for savings. We quickly came to trust and rely on her design sense and problem-solving abilities. Joan sources quality materials, especially custom cabinetry, and her tradespeople are very knowledgeable and reliable. In the end, she also updated our master bedroom, working with the existing furniture, repainting, and installing beautiful drapes, an area rug and a new ceiling fan. She replaced other light fixtures throughout the main floor and installed my husband's long-desired art lighting. The work was well scheduled and finished in a reasonable time frame, including minor touch ups and fixes. We are happy that the cost did not exceed her initial quote. She was always very calming, reassuring us that the job was not finished until we were totally happy. Which we are! Delighted! The results are beautiful!

Joan and her team are extremely professional and a complete joy to work with. I have had the benefit of working with The Curtain Call as both a vendor and client. As a vendor, there is nothing more fulfilling than working with a designer or builder who fully understands the process. We build custom wine cellars and much more is involved than lovely woodwork. There is climate control, electrical, plumbing, insulation, vapor barrier...all to provide a perfect environment for aging wines. I advise Joan on what is needed and before I know it, its completed and ready for us to do a perfect install. Because of this, I became a client.
