Applying for Medicaid for your parent can be done without a lawyer, but the process is not for the faint of heart. A friend recommended I retain a lawyer to get it done efficiently and expediently. Dan Munster came highly recommended. He gathered all the required documentation while carefully managing \spend down\ and preservation of final assets, and got my dad approved at just the right time. I'd recommend Dan to anyone who is dealing with getting their loved one approved for Medicaid.
