Thank you very much for my birthday lockdown takeaway meal tonight, it was excellent think ill have to have a birthday every week myself and all the family thought it was very enjoyable

02Mar2019. Early evening meal. High quality food. Portion size moderate. Broad wine list. Good, quick service. Fine decoration, contemporary style. Bathrooms spotless. Village location. Prices reflect the expected income of the local area: 1 starter, 2 mains, 3 desserts, 1 glass of wine plus 10% service charge totalled GBP 70. The venue was nearly fully-booked for prime-time dinner service.

With restrictions it has been a while since we have eaten at the Grandison and hopefully will not need to wait so long to go back, Sunday lunch superb. Food great staff great....

It's great to find somewhere that is Covid-19 free. Apart from the bar stools being out of bounds and notices advising to keep your distance there are no other restrictions. No hand wash or sanitiser to be seen, no one way system, no screens to protect the staff. Harks back to happier times.

First time visit to The Grandison and I'm sure it won't be the last. What a lovely place. The staff are all very welcoming. The service is great and the food was really tasty.
