Nice, cozy place to enjoy countryside, water and few good beer and food in scenery. Not overcrowded, for restaurant you nedd to book in advance as space fill up quickly and the same rules apply for beer place. They have spot for teaching paddling and rent the equipment.

Honestly the best pub food I’ve eaten in as long as I can remember. Also if you want a place taking COVID measures seriously look no further. Big shout out to the staff too who were all exceptionally hospitable and welcoming. Location and outdoor space also great.

We called in on the off chance to see if there any availability and as luck would have it they had a cancellation and could fit us in. The menu was excellent and had good gluten free options. The staff were brilliant and very friendly, we really enjoyed our evening here and would have no issues recommending the restaurant to our family and friends.

Always fantastic service even in covid times. Good food and booze. Boat hire was a new thing to us, very enjoyable works up an appetite.

Lovely spot, had some great restaurant meals here in the past. Only had a burger from the garden menu this time but the chips weren't cooked properly. I feel a bit stingy giving only 4 stars - but chips are of vital importance aren't they?
