My partner and I had a 2 hour introduction to SUP Lesson this morning, and loved it! We had to rearrange due to bad weather but they called us with loads of notice and helped us arrange for the next day. The instruction was very clear and they were all super friendly and helpful. We were learning spinning tricks by the end of the lesson. Great staff, great experience and would recommend to anyone considering giving it a go! Thanks!

Such a welcome cup of tea and the BANANA CAKE wow wow just WOW. Not to ugly a view either
We've had an absolute great time, myself and my husband booked kitesurfing lessons whilst we were staying in Cornwall. Everyone at Hoxton Special were very friendly and welcoming and they're also selling tea and cakes - what's not to love! Angus was very responsive and was quick to re-arrange some of our lessons, as we had couple non-windy days. I've spent my first 4 out of 5 lessons with Louis, who was incredibly enthusiastic and so patient with me, giving me clear instructions on how I can improve further! On my 5th lesson with Neil I was able to stand up and ride - what a great feeling that is, I'm totally hooked in now! I just wished I had more time to spend at Hoxton to continue to improve, but all holidays come to an end :( Will recommend to anyone, what a special place and team to learn to kitesurf! Pete & Inesa
Definitely a \must visit\ if you find yourself in Marazion! Excellent coffee, with great dairy-free options (yay!) And exceptional views!! The prices are all very fair, for the coffee, cakes, kayak hire and the rest of it! I really don't think I can praise this wonderful spot highly enough!
Kitesurfing really does feel as awesome as it looks but there is so much going on with controlling a kite, standing up on a board and dealing with the randomness of nature that you need a totally competent and patient instructor, and in my opinion you can't better Angus and the Hoxton Special for this. The lessons progress you through the sport in stages that all come together at the end. There were several stages where I struggled but Angus patiently allowed me to practice each stage until I nailed it before progressing, at no point did I feel rushed or pressured to go faster than I felt comfortable with, so at the end of the course it felt comfortable and almost natural for me to go out into the ocean and kitesurf. Learning to kitesurf isn't easy but it is highly enjoyable and Angus' enthusiasm never failed to make me try \once more time\. Really the only downside is that I now have to explain to my wife why I absolutely MUST spend our holiday fund on new kitesurfing kit.
