We thought we had found the perfect apartment here with the July leasing special for 1500 off of our unit.... Then we went to try to get a virtual tour (fully prepared to sign a lease immediately) where trouble began to show. Noone would answer the phone, so I texted them. I was texting a rep who would reply maybe once every two hours and said I couldn't be called for two days since she was working from home, but was told someone was in office to answer. Multiple calls and voicemails into the office and I was never contacted. Then I found reviews for the entity this is apart of, Uptown Square, where I saw reviews of absent management not caring slightly about residents, security, work orders, crime, homeless squatters in electrical closets, needles and homeless people in hallways... These reviews can all be found on the uptown square page. As much I wanted to believe they have turned it around, if they can't figure out how to answer the phone for someone who is dying to give them 30% of their income, I have no reason to believe they will ever fix anything on site or take any action when homeless people are sleeping in my car. All I had to do was make contact with the office and I would've signed, very glad I didn't.

Trying to look for apartments during COVID19 has been extremley difficult since nobody is allowing any in person tours. The person emailing back and forth with me was really quick and responded to all my emails until it came time for us to apply. We went on the website hoping to apply for the apartment discuessed in the email when we noticed that the apartment wasn't listed on there. I went ahead and sent an email confiriming with the person that the apartment we talked about is indeed avaiable. Its been over a week since then, and we havent gotten a single response back. I have emailed multiple times just in case the email didn't go through and still no response!! We tried going to the apartments once things started opening back up on the 8th and the doors were locked and nobody was working. Super unprofessional to just stop responding to us right as we were ready to pull the trigger on the place.

I was working with an agent from their office and she was totally fine and very helpful. When I went to scan in my paperwork and check to them, while the original leasing agent was out of town for the rest of the week, they wouldn't answer the phone for hours and hung up on me twice. If that is how they treat someone who is trying to lease an apartment I would be feel bad for someone who is an actual tenant and has issues.
