I spent 24 weeks learning Italian at Istituto Il David and now am very proud of my level of Italian. I went for four hours every day. The classes were a good size for every language level (beginner-advanced). I started at the school with an intermediate level. I really appreciated the passion of the teachers. Each teacher brought their own flair to the class. The teachers were very friendly and open to our needs. I learned a lot of vocabulary pertaining to my interests. There were activities to attend every week. I attended certain activities more than once and always learned something new or different. My favourite was the weekly film in which every film was selected by the director of the school and we would discuss it. The school were very helpful and communicative which I appreciated. I really loved the atmosphere of the school, made many friends and learned not only about the Italian culture but also of the cultures of the other students. If you take the opportunity to study Italian with Istituto Il David, you will reap the rewards and improve your Italian.

Great school, warm welcome from everyone, there are no doubts left and the courses are entertaining. I spent 5 weeks going to this language program at it was really a great experience.
I spent three months at the Institute Il David in Florence last spring. It was my second time there and, as the first time, I had a great time. I found was I was looking for; qualified teachers and great teaching. It was literally my first Italian class and since then I definitely improved a lot. I also liked the activities offered by the school that allow us to have a better understanding of the Italian culture. I highly recommend this Institute.
Excellent language school with warm teachers, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. You can stay with a family, a shared apartment or a private apartment, all within close proximity to the school, which is situated right near Piazza della Republica. Highly recommended.
