Recently did an Explore Award here and have got to say I'm so glad I did it. Adrian is a really good instructor because he doesn't just show you what to do, he properly coaches you and allows you to learn and practice the skills over and over. The course builds confidence but also the understanding of thorough preparation for a good day's (lifetimes's) paddling. Brilliant - will be back to hopefully do some more individual coaching and maybe a river trip or two if I can get a space. There is a reason that they book up quickly!

I recently attended a two hour taster course run by The Kayak Coach. Paul, the instructor did a superb job and would have scored a straight 10/10 in each box on a feedback form. He was safety conscious in a sensible way; affable; made everyone feel comfortable and provided me with an excellent introduction to kayaking. I was particularly impressed with the offer of a hot shower!
I recently completed a Paddle Explore Course with Adrian. He is a knowledgeable coach with an easy going style but he will be honest in his assessment of your skills You will get wet, maybe a little cold but you will leave a better paddler! Highly recommended!!
Would definitely recommended. There are great views of the south downs kayaking down the river. Very reasonably priced and brilliant service all round! Perfect activity to share with friends or family, you can even take a picnic with you and have it on the bank of the river.
Brilliant time on the Arundel trip. Great experience, lovely people and felt very safe.
