Missing this place a lot right now. Cheap drinks, great music, friendly staff and usually a good crowd.

Nice little venue to enjoy the bands when you can get to the front. Not keen on the long steps down. Think you need a two-way escalator instead. Overall sound guys are top notch and add the acoustic of the venue.

Played here with a band recently, sound was incredible considering it was a metal based evening. Could hear everything on stage very well and was delightfully balanced. Punters and other bands also commented how decent it sounded out on the floor. Professional and friendly approach from sound guy and other staff. Great night. Cheers

First time here yesterday. Went to see New Year's Day, came out especially to Leeds from Lincoln with my partner. Really good atmosphere, found the drinks to be a reasonable price and I only wish there was a venue like this nearer to me.

Great for live music. Otherwise it's really dingy and dirty, it's literally a basement. Alright if you're a student and you don't mind the filth but otherwise I'd just watch the band and get out of there! Toilets were awful.

I’ve been here three times and I’ve not been disappointed. I’ve been twice to the indie night and once to the slam dunk night (emo, rock). I much preferred the indie night but that just due to my personal taste in music. The slam dunk night was much more popular and the place was filled with people. My only complaint would be it can be a bit “dead”, for a lack of a better word, as the second time I went to the indie night there were only about 10 people there. But that’s not in any way the club’s fault, probably just the popularity of indie music, and some people don’t mind busting out the moves regardless of the amount of people in the room, so it’s not really an issue. The staff are very respectful and lovely, and they have some great DJs, the music never disappoints. I’ll definitely say they play far more “alternative” songs compared to other indie nightclubs I’ve been to, which just play the popular ones. One of the best nightclubs in Leeds in my opinion. Highly recommend!

Fantastic music venue. It's a basement club but there is wheelchair accessibility if you ask on the door or check out the website! Just be aware it's a bit steep!

Came for indie Wednesday's. Was greeted by music by top bands like The Wanted, One Direction, McFly and Ariana Grande, with half the crowd unengaged, only becoming alive when a song like "when the sun goes down" by arctic monkeys came on. In the words of Morrissey... "Hang the DJ". Cheap booze though, sometimes a really good night out, just a bit disappointed.
