I moved here a few months ago and was hoping for a great experience at this facility. The apartments are beautiful, the pool is beautiful, and the prices are rather steep at 1200. I figured paying more would be worth it because it's a gated community and should be rather safe. I was wrong! Anybody can drive into this facility and utilize the pool as they please and they take full advantage of this. The most they will get is a slap on the hand and sent back out the door...sometimes they won't even get that much. Residents frequently complain that they are unable to utilize the pool because it is full of nonresidents. The facility has been notified multiple times about the problem and absolutely nothing has been done about it. Plus, the nonresidents vandalize the parking lots with trash, smoke marijuana at the pool, and smear feces on the wall in the bathroom at the pool. If you want an apartment complex that takes the residents safety and privacy seriously, you need to pick another one. I'm ready for my lease to be over because this is absolutely ridiculous!

I have lived at The Lakes at Turtle Creek for almost three years. I honestly could not have had a better experience. The staff is second to none and the apartment complex is gorgeous. I toured many apartments before touring here and none of them could compare. This is a great and safe location. I love being so close to The University of Southern Mississippi, Walmart, the mall, and anywhere else I could want to go. I never have to worry about parking and all of my neighbors are friendly. The office staff are always in a wonderful mood and the maintenance staff are always on top of everything. I do not have a single negative thing to say about The Lakes at Turtle Creek. I highly recommend living here!

I just took a tour of the apartment, although I loved the apartment, I’m not too sure about the woman who took me on the tour. It was somewhat uncomfortable, she was almost insinuating that I would not be able to afford the apartment and if I were lying about who all would live in the apartment. I toured a one bedroom with my 11 month old daughter and my bestfriend, I told her that it would just be for me and my daughter old but I also wanted to view a 2 bedroom just incase. She mentioned fees not so much as an informing way but in a this might be out of your price range kind of way. She asked me several times who all would be in the apartment and mentioned other things several times in the same way. She also made a comment to my friend about my daughter which I felt was inappropriate. I’ve been on bad tours before but I’ve never experienced anything like this. I will not let this one negative experience affect my decision because there did seem to be more welcoming staff in the office. Overall the apartment was beautiful and if I do choose this as my home for the next year and everything goes well, I will be sure to leave an updated comment for the better. P.S. I don’t want to paint her out as someone bad, maybe her delivery was just off.

I went to visit these apartments today and I really liked these apartments! They had everything that I have been looking for! Everything is so new! The kitchen is open and the tub is a nice size. The hard wood floors are my favorite and the security of the gate is great for me. I love how close the stores are located.

I lived at the lakes for over a year and have nothing but positive things to say about it. The office staff is great, the maintenance staff is great and it was just overall an amazing experience. I live in a different state currently and now realize how good I had it at the lakes! Thanks!
