PHENOMENAL FOOD! I got their Curry Goat and some garlic Naan and it was fantastic. I love that you can choose how much heat your food has. My only complaint is their mixed drinks aren't super great. But their wines and beers are pretty good. Food was perfect is almost every way.

Harvard's premier Indian culinary destination, this is the best place to get Indian food anywhere around here.

I have a nut allergy and mentioned it on the online order form while ordering a dish that didn't mention nuts but had some. They called me to inform me and we arranged a substitution. I have never, in years of ordering food online, felt so safe. Also, their food is delicious. Definitely making this my go-to Indian restaurant.

There a quite a few Indian restaurants in the area, but The Maharaja is the my go to. Most importantly of course is the food and it is by far the best of all the local options (and I've tried them all). The atmosphere is slightly upscale in comparison to the others- nice enough for a romantic date night, but not so nice that you would feel like you had to be dressed up. They tend to be about 1-2 more expensive per entree, but for consistently great food, to me it is worth it. Many of the other Indian options in the area can be hit or miss.
