This company and apartment complex is not a very reputable place to say the parking is bad they do not care about the residence all they want is money regardless of who’s breaking the rules and who is abiding by the rules I give this place a minus one I would not stay here

I have been at the Morehead for 2 years and just renewed for my 3rd year. The prices are very reasonable especially for this particular area. The staff is always kind/personable and have been able to assist with any issue that may arise. Maintenance typically comes out to complete work orders the same day; and if they can not make it out that day, I've only had to wait 48 hours max. My master bedroom is very large and the other two bedrooms are good sizes as well. The walls/floors are a tad thin so I can hear my neighbors occasionally, but nothing crazy. Honestly, its just a part of apartment living. There are bugs outside, but it is to be expected when you see the amount of trees/greenery on the property. Plenty of locations for them to dwell. I make sure I spray Home Defense in my home and around my front door/ patio area and I haven't had an issue with any creepy crawlies sneaking in.

I am sad to be leaving Greensboro and this community after six years. I will miss my large, one bedroom apartment, with a balcony that looked out into a wooded area. These apartments are older, but well-maintained. Zeb, the maintenance man has been with the community longer than my time here, he always greets you with a smile and he knows how to fix everything. Maintenance requests were completed within 24 hours, usually much earlier. During my time here the manager-Jade replaced my carpet, kitchen and dining room floors, front door, stove, and bath paneling. Management is professional and a pleasure to speak to (Laura & Jade). Be sure to communicate with them-it only benefitted me when I did. Rental rates are competitive and the location is central to Wendover, I-40, West Friendly, West Market, and Guilford College. There is a neighborhood Walmart down the street... Starbucks, Jimmy Johns, bars, Amoroso’s bakery, El Azteca, a diner, etc. I felt safe living by myself here. Neighbors look out for each other and my building felt like its own little community. I will miss the kids running over to pet Poochie and to update me on the “happenings.” You should definitely check this place out if you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay in beautiful Greensboro.

Two people were murdered in the complex security is a major issue because of the element they allow to lease their apartments. Would not recommend if you’d like a safe place for your family. Being reasonably priced should not come before cleanliness and safety!

I have been living here for almost 4 months. It has been great so far. The office staff is super nice and completely helpful. There are some cosmetic issues in the apartment...only a picky person would see it. Any maintenance issue that we have is taken care of within 48-72 hours. I believe they have changed management within the past couple of years so that may explain some of the bad reviews from a couple of years ago. It takes time to clean up a neighborhood. I am very happy! Update!!! I am STILL here and STILL HAPPY!! The maintenance has improved (they were great already). We had a stopped up kitchen sink on CHRISTMAS DAY and they showed up within 2 hours to clear it! Jade is a great Community Manager. She is straightforward and firm but effective and responsive. I live on the first floor and when a pipe in the vacant apartment above me busted, Jade helped us throughout the repair process. When the contractors did not do the job like they should, she sent them back out to get it right and followed up with us to make sure we were satisfied. We downsized from a 4 bedroom 2100 sq ft home when our kids moved out. It has been an adjustment but I don't regret it AT ALL! Update as of 9/20. We have been living at The Morehead since February 2015. We are preparing to move, not because of the complex but to move closer to my husband's dialysis center. The office staff has been magnificent and always so incredibly helpful. The maintenance team have been just as great. They are always so friendly and responsive. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone! Thank you Morehead for EVERYTHING!
