We visited this restaurant after finding out that our favourite place had stopped serving food at 1920. We stumbled across the Northern Whig and decided to give it a go. Interesting eating place with funky blue lighting. Upon entering, you have to find the restaurant bit and the sign you you wait to be seated. There is a good selection of food and the prices are reasonable. There are also meal deals available. Three courses for two people came to 54 with a round of drinks.
Good food great bar. Nice to have some lunch and drinks during strange times.
Had a great meal and a few drinks. The manager was exceptional and even had a pint replaced for me after it went flat without me having to ask. We also landed 2 free pints which was really nice of them! Great layout inside and there was plenty of space between us and any other groups.
Visited for lunch and cocktails one Saturday afternoon. The space is nice, great for groups and lots of TVs with the matches playing. The menus seemed lovely with great options and very good value however I was very disappointed with the actual taste and quality of it. All the dishes were beautifully presented however the food itself lacked flavour and tasted very proceeded. The two waitresses that served us weren’t particularly friendly but the two bar staff were and the drinks were delicious. I’d come back for drinks but not for the food.
