Upon visiting this month we visited the toilets and found them in an unacceptable state specially in this current situation with COVID-19 The toilets were not cleaned hand dryer not working no hand towels only a tea towel that is so unhygienic that people could keep using and passing germs to each other. This needs to be urgently addressed and I believe it must be the landlords responsibility URGENTLY ADDRESS

Love this cafe. I have been here dozens of times sometimes with my partner and often with my lovely bike club. The staff can't do enough to be helpful which is wonderful and they happily allow us to bring our bikes through with us and then we come in for tea and cake. On one very memorable occasion Richard the cafe manager set up a birthday party for me for my 50th birthday for 50 bike riders! My best birthday party ever by far. He set aside an area with 4 large cakes and limitless tea and coffee and we all helped ourselves. As the huge cakes turned to crumbs the wonderful staff seamlessly produced more and more cake! Really, really kind and loving people. Its a pleasure to visit and to know them. And ... they do fabulous cake!
Lovely setting...perfect to sit out in the garden and relax in the sun...and amazing top quality food. Would highly recommend to all.
I have had a cooked breakfast here and can honestly say it was the best i have ever had cooked to perfection. Also have been and had a Sunday Roast cooked like my mum used to make 5**** YOU WONT GO WRONG IF YOU STOP TO HAVE ANYTHING IN THIS CAFE ALL IS SUPERB.
5 stars for the cafe section. The garden centre side has slipped. The inside shop is nice & interesting. Not too impressed with the wood blocks & signs that seem to be all the rage, but are actually something a child could do & the adult overprices!! Pleasant place, food excellent.
