The Old Blacksmiths is our local studio of choice. We have tried 5 or 6 other studios over the years, but we find this one best suits our needs. Easy to get toooff of the motorway, always parking available, lovely fresh rehearsal space with all the equipment you could need, air con, simple booking system, friendly staff and always straightforward. We have also recorded 2 singles at the Blacksmiths and have to say the process and results have been impressive. As a band, we love working with Ben in particular who is positive, supportive, professional and an all round good guy. The studio is kitted out extremely well for digital recordings and Ben is very flexible and helpful when it comes to production, mixing and mastering. There's a great chill out space upstairs with plenty of stuff to do if you need some downtime whilst recording, but the studio is so nice you probably won'tever want to leave. Can't reccomend this place enough.

Great studio, really easy to find. The set up is very professional and modern. Facilities are good and staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be using the rehearsal studios on a regular basis from now on. Would highly recommend this studio to anyone!

I have been coming to The Old Blacksmiths for over 5 years now, for recording and rehearsals, and it's one of the best studios around. My most recent visit to the studio was to record drums for my showreel. Ben was beyond helpful in getting the right sound, helping me with the arrangement and his experience with mixing brought the track to life (made me sound much better than I am!) Fantastic studio. Cannot recommend enough.
