As a close family member to an OCVT patient and someone who has sat in on sessions, I can honestly vouch for the significant improvement she has made even though her doctors thought that her injury was so immense that she couldn’t recover fully. While her own determination and efforts are crucial, Dr. Larson and the OCVT team has played a large role as they guide her along the journey. The livelihood and compassion they provide speaks volumes and every patient that steps foot at this facility will have an undeniably positive outcome

I have been a patient at OCVT for the last 3 years. I was diagnosed with a severe Traumatic Brain Injury after taking a16 foot fall and landing on my head. Consequently, my visual processing abilities were greatly compromised. I was seeing double and even had to relearn how to identify the letters of the alphabet. Dr. Larson and her staff have supported me unconditionally as I continue to navigate through the pain and trauma suffered from this extreme event. OCVT has given me the confidence, support, and individualized treatment targeting the skills I must redevelop to achieve full recovery.

The OCVT team has and continues to exceed my expectations. I'm an adult currently undergoing vision therapy. At age 40 I have aligned my \lazy eye\, headaches have diminished, the world looks crisper, I've began seeing in 3D and have started reading at a faster rate. I'm in love with OCVT and their services. While my insurance coverage has been somewhat of a challenge, the OCVT team continues to mediate on my behalf and with mutual collaboration my insurance provider has now recognized that this type of treatment is medically necessary.
