Wonderfully executed, thoughtful selection of Peranakan delights for high tea. One of the staff (Alf) demonstrated excellent service recovery - he accomodated us after an initial misunderstanding (mainly on our part) thinking we had ordered a high tea buffet. (It was high tea, but not a buffet). Nonetheless, Alf offered to top up one item for us. Thank u for the excellent service. And more importantly, the food taste & quality was all around excellent!
The decor is over the top good with lots to look at and many items for sale. The food and service is tasty and attentive.
Lovely Peranakan restaurant with fast and good service. Every dish we ordered was delicious and packed with flavour especially the beef rendang. The nasi ulam is also another must order. We really enjoyed ourselves. The service staff was so nice to offer 2 boxes of Kueh as a birthday gift to 2 birthday ladies. The Kueh box is lovely and so creative. More importantly they are so delicious.
Great food and attentive service from the service crew. Restaurant interior was well curated with Peranakan items and almost seems like a Peranakan museum. Had a very memorable lunch with parents and sibling. Will definitely come again.
Unique experience if you haven't had Peranakan cuisine. A great fusion of Chinese, Malay, Indonesian tastes. Ambience is definitely unique. Food and service is great too. Try one of the large platters for 2 if you are really hungry.
I would like to say that the taste of all the food don't really suit my appetite. The Itek Tim soup is so salted that you can only taste the salted veggies and not the duck. The others dishes of chicken and pork is also extremely salty and taste so-so only. I won't re-visit this place again for sure as such quality of food is being charge at premium price. For this 3 dishes, it cost like 75. So hope you think twice before going.
Nice food, nice environment. The employee is friendly too. Recommended for family dinners or any event celebration.
