We visited on Saturday 12th September 2020. There is clear guidance on the website and upon arrival as to procedures in accordance with the Government regulations in respect of COVID. A friendly welcome and explanation as to the current restrictions on displays. An interesting description of the history of the pier was presented by the warden. In trust it will be practical for the museum to return to sharing and showing full exhibitions in the near future as the local history is fascinating. In the interim we can contribute to the local community by visiting and donating to invest in a wonderful resource for all generations. Thank you to all the volunteers helping to maintain a limited service now and working towards full interaction with the visitors in the future.

Local residents take care about their Museum. It is felt in every piece and any corner. Thank you for great time!
Great little museum . Sells locally made gifts, and has rotating exhibitions so always something new. Very small entry charge. Very small annual membership.
A sweet little volunteer run museum with some fun exhibits & lovely gift shop. It would take up perhaps an 45minuts-an hour of your day. We were glad to visit and would go back. I think it is important to support our museums
Interesting stuff about Herne but the attraction for me was the 'dambusters' exhibition which was very informative.
