I was assisted today by Lou Ortiz today, and was very pleased and happy with his service. He exhumed that feeling which makes you understand his loves of music. He took care of my daughter's violin like it was an expensive art work, even though it is a beginner violin. Highly recommended if all the staff are the same as Lou Ortiz.

This shop always offers friendly and helpful advice and a sense of care for what you may need. The staff helped me with finding the right case for my rather uncommon instrument, and also with selecting some spare gut strings and appropriate rosin. I wish I was a conventional string player so I could make more use of their services!

A really great one stop shop for all your orchestral stringed instrument needs. They definitely seem to have the widest range, a really good online shop and reasonable prices. I've shopped here in person and the service is friendly and efficient, and when I have shopped online, the orders are fulfilled very quickly! Highly recommended.

My son's cello was broken and need a replacement. Before my visit, Libby through emails had provided me enough information to help me understand the range of the product. In the store, several cellos had been well prepared. My son could not come to the store as he had to attend another event. What a surprise that I had great experience with Lou Ortiz. He explained about each of the cellos in a very detail manner. Lou played each of the cello for me to see the differences. He patiently described, compared and helped me in making the right choice for the cello, the bow and the case. I recorded the sound of the cellos, I took photo of several cello cases for my son to choose. Yes, we made it. My son is extremely happy with the choice guided by Lou. Thanks Lou, also Libby for the great experience you have crafted for your customer.

Lou Ortiz was an absolute delight, taking his time to walk me through the options and providing very transparent and unbiased advice to chose the right strings for my skill level, instrument, aspirations and budget. He was selfless with his care advice and went above and beyond what I was originally expecting. Buying a cello with Lou's help was simply a perfect experience. Lou was low-key, unhurried, tremendously knowledgeable and honest to the core. I am not a musician and needed a lot of help to make the right choice for a surprise cello for my wife. I don't think I ever saw a woman more thrilled, the choice turned out to be perfect.
