Amazing little pub with fantastic staff and food! We had a family gathering here last x.mas and the staff joined in our quiz which was just brilliant and so entertaining. All 14meals were delicious and the staff were always on hand for drinks orders. Since then The Tap has always been high on my list of recommendations of places to eat and somewhere I love to visit for a nice meal and some drinks in a beautiful relaxed environment.

Visited here on 26th August. It's hard to believe this is the same pub it used to be, the interior is lovely and a far cry from the dingy side street pub it used to be. The food was amazing. I loved the option to fill in the menu myself, I asked for my steak to be well done with a few extra for good measure and it was good perfectly without being dried out or flavourless. The peppercorn sauce was really full of flavour and the fries were lush. Had the Beer'd up mushrooms to start which were divine. The waiter and waitresses were lovely, especially with the kids and overall couldn't recommend it enough. The portion sizes were huge too.

Top quality food cooked to perfection in a friendly welcoming environment. Highly recommend this place, everything was fantastic, all the staff are super friendly too. The young man behind the bar was particularly helpful. Tonight was our first time, we will definitely be back again without a doubt.

An outstanding Sunday lunch at the Tap Steakhouse: excellent quality, huge portions and very good value. Puds were delicious, especially the creme brulee. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
