Visited today with my wife. The staff were very friendly, polite & helpful. We both had the roast beef Sunday dinner. The food was beautiful, very tasty and plenty of it on your plate. We would highly recommend you stop here for a bite to eat when visiting Whitehaven. 5 star service

FANTASTIC TAKE-AWAY PIZZA'S\ A great selection of pizza's to choose from. I got the full English pizza, & a half steak & ale, half duck & ho-sin sauce.
Disgraceful. Will not be going again. Booked for 5pm. Arrived at 4.55pm. First people in. Food arrived at 5.55pm. Chips were under cooked. Pork was missing sauce. Salad was brown. Told there were 4 types of veg when ordering. Only two arrived, carrots and broccoli and were bland. Complained to the lady who thought she was clever using the excuse that one of the party ordered a med-rare sirloin steak and that takes 40 minutes to cook apparently. The other 20 minutes must have been taken up by preparing the rotten salad, the undercooked chips and possibly the apple sauce that never was. WELL DONE!!! Wonder if the government were happy with their 50% of their bill.
Booked for evening meal, spoilt for choice on menu and specials board. My daughter had goulash and I had chicken roulade both delicious and we really enjoyed it. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening
