Friends and neighbors referred us to Morton, The Viking Craftsman for a new outdoor deck that evolved into a 1st floor remodel of our home. Morten did not disappoint, all work exceeded our expectations! The quality of custom workmanship is exceptional. Morten’s clear communication of process, timelines and costs helped us break down our design, appliance and hardware decisions into logical, manageable pieces. His painting and flooring subcontractors were just as impressive. Great quality and attention to detail! We were particularly grateful for Morton’s calm demeanor and his honesty, flexibility and expertise in kitchen and bathroom design. At the completion of the project we fell in love with our 20yr old home all over again. We also made a great friend in Morten, he is a true Craftsman!! We highly recommend The Viking Craftsman without reservation to anyone looking to renovate/remodel their home.

Morten is a real craftsman -- talented, professional, helpful and pleasant to work with. He modified our master bath by replacing the tub with a large shower, reconfigured the old shower/toilet area, and resurfaced/painted the walls. His painting sub did a fantastic job -- helping us choose the color with detailed, professional execution.

Excellent contractor. Does 99% of work himself. Meticulous attention to detail. Beautifully handcrafted woodwork vanity. Easy to work with. Value priced. Best possible bathroom renovation experience. Several years ago I was employed by a very wealthy man to manage one of his companies. Whenever we needed custom work done he called on the Viking Craftsman. I met Morton several times and saw his \old world\ craftsmanship and customization several times. At the time I didn't think I could afford to have this level of workmanship in my own home. So, like most people I tucked the knowledge of his work away for a hopeful future. In April 2016 my wife and I closed on our newest home. I contacted Morton \The Viking Craftsman\ for a large custom cabinet project that my wife and I had been discussing. He is responsive and within two discussions we knew what we wanted to do. Every step of the building process was explained, he is prompt and meticulous. Even more impressive his subcontracted granite guys and painter worked with the same zeal and caring behaviors. He started and finished everything exactly as promised and to say the least we are extremely pleased with our beautiful home. The Viking Craftsman is the best and, for any discerning home owner the only choice to make.

We just finished a project with Morten the Viking Craftsman. Morten did a complete rebuild of our living room builtin cabinets to accommodate a new flat screen TV configuration. We found Morten by researching online. From our very first conversation Morten was professional and knowledgeable. We have had challenges with contractors in the past, as most people have, but that was not the case here. Morten did an outstanding job, he was a pleasure to work with and did exceptional work. He was efficient and minimized the impact to our home during construction. In my opinion, Morten is a very honest, genuine person who I would and will recommend to all of my friends and neighbors.
