Buyer beware of any house built by Pulte. The quality of construction is low, the materials used are substandard. They will not stand by construction defects. We currently have a numerous uncorrected problems related to poor quality construction and engineering. We currently have spent over 8000.00 to remediate a severe mold problem related to an improperly installed AC unit. Pulte has refused all requests to remediate the damage or fix the problem. This is a common problem with Pulte homes, particularly in the Villages at Tuscan Lakes, where take advantage of largely elderly residents. In addition to the HVAC and mold issues, the finishing work is total crap. There are nails sticking out of baseboards, unfilled cracks in the substandard door framing and jambs. Some of the promised hurricane shutters were never delivered or installed correctly. If you have a Pulte home with HVAC/mold or other problems please contact the HOA for information on the options currently being studied for action against them.
