My mother was placed at The Waters of Scottsburg after being in the hospital with pneumonia. She was previously in another facility that was an absolutely awful place. I was a little nervous at first, but soon realized this facility actually cared about the patients. They kept me updated with everything that was going on. There was an incident with my mom and the nurse called several times just to assure me she was doing better. One of the PT's there came in and sat and talked to my mother and prayed with her. And that right there let me know they cared!Unfortunately my mother suffered a heart attack, but the facility reacted fast and tried their best to save her but she soon passed at the hospital. So when I went back to retrieve her belongings the nurses and staff were very compassionate and offered to help with anything I needed. It's not a fancy, or even super modern facility, but it was very clean and very friendly and that mattered the most! Thank you!

My grandfather was moved here in good physical health but suffering dementia. He was not eating well and advised to be on a soft foods diet. Instead he was given a normal diet, aspirated food, and developed pneumonia that contributed to his passing. He was only transferred to hospital care when we came to visit and found his health had drastically declined in only a few days. Would not recommend.
Unprofessional environment and management. If you have a loved one you would like to be placed under genuine care- take them to the Hampton Oaks facility. I definitely would not recommend this facility to anyone unless it's your absolute last choice.
Great place to work, good atmosphere and some what good care provided to residents.
Had a friend live there temparily, was given grest care...
