This is the cutest hair salon ever. After moving to Nashville, I spent some time researching and waiting for the perfect hairstylist that could bring back to life my curls. In the middle of that research I was so lucky to find Mallory Granrath. As soon as you step in to the salon she welcomes you with the biggest smile that even though she’s wearing a mask, her eyes shows her excitement, I immediately felt I trusted her fully. Mallory is passionate about what she does, she listens what your needs are and together come up with a plan custom tailored for your unique hair type and desires! She spends extra time on educating you about everything: her toxin-free products, how to style your hair which I learned is a BIG thing if not everything when it comes to curly hair!, she even guided me through the quality of water here in Nashville and how that was affecting my hair and what action steps I could take to change that! I’m SO happy with my curls again, they have come back to life thanks to her! I cannot recommend her enough!

I had tested this place out twice before with two not so intense appointments and both went extremely well, made a third appointment and things went awry. Stylist claims she needed to cancel on me (two hours before a late afternoon appointment) after a quick exchange the stylist then said she was sick but could make it...but the offer \to come in\ was 30 minutes past the appointment time...didn't make sense. I'd assume someone would know they're under the weather / sick first thing in the morning not 2 hours before a late afternoon appointment but I guess its in the realm of possibilities. Ultimately I asked for the appointment to just be cancelled - I had a full Sunday before traveling for a week and couldn't shift things around 2 hours before my appointment.I got an \apology for the inconvenience\ not an offer for any restitution (if I cancelled 2 hours before as a customer I'd be charged). Reached out to the salon to ask for someone to call me or email me to try and fix this situation and its been radio silence (been a week now). Not sure whats up but I was looking forward to making this my salon home since its so close to my place....not confident in that possibility now...wondering if this is an isolated incident....
AHHHMAZING! Truly inspired space and Ashlee K delivered the best color I’ve had in years. Listening and honoring the powerful life of my hair made the whole experience magic. Happy we found our hair happy place!
