Have played the course for the last couple of years and decided to take the plunge for my first golf membership as rates are very reasonable and the clubhouse is very welcoming. The course has a good variety of holes and is an interesting challenge for me (a high handicapper). The course maintenance is getting better and better and in time i think the course will be a little gem.

Played the course for the first time this morning. Must say we were pleasantly surprised how good the course was. A good variety of different challenging holes. Round in less than 3 hours 30 minutes. Will play again. And decent food in the club house

Theale is a nice golf course, with a range of different holes which are very challenging in places and easier in others. The overall course is quite picturesque and there a few water hazards to keep you on your toes. The only negatives are that the greens aren't kept in the best condition I've seen and it is fairly pricey compared to some others of a similar standard (35 a round of 18 holes on the weekend). It's still a nice course though and definitely worth a try if you haven't played there before
