We haven't been there in a while. Stopped after a nearby event was cancelled. I had the fish sandwich and my wife had the fish fry. The fish was light and crispy. Not greasy. My steak fries were hot and crispy. Accommodated our requests. Will definitely be back.

I visited Chuck's Family Restaurant yesterday (7/1/20) to try a new restaurant in the area. Overall it was pretty good. The homemade deep-fried cheese balls were massive and crispy, mozzarella goodness, however slightly oily. Southern fried chicken breast sandwich was good, but could have been a bit more juicy. And The bacon burger was pretty good, and juicy. The bacon had a smoked taste to it and was tender and tasty. In my opinion what stole the show was their sides. The extremely crispy potato wedges and home made smoked barbecue sauce was out of this world. The service here is spectacular as well. Overall I'd rate this place 3.5 or 4 out of 5.
Chucks Place is amazing!! It has been one of my favorite restaurants since I was little. The cheese balls on the appetizers are the best I've ever had!! Definitely recommend if you're ever in the Mequon/Thiensville area!
You know when you go to a restaurant and you get a salad and you keep having to ask for extra ranch well I did not have to they gave me a lot of ranch. Oh and all of the food is just great. My family and I come there every weekend it’s the best.
Deep dish pizza is okay. Comparatively smaller than Lou Malnati's by 1 pound. Doughy crust. We asked for par baked & the crust was burnt on the bottom. Lou's won this contest.
