It was really fascinating to see the large windmills up close. In addition to the visitor center that has information about windmills and the technology, you can walk on an easy accessible path along the windmills in the test center. It truly makes you appreciate the huge scale of these mills. If you are at all curious or interested in this technology this place is worth a visit.

How do you rate something that is free to visit? Nice facts about windmills, but only 20-30 min of entertainment. If it's worth the drive depends on the viewer.
Always exiting to see the wind turbines up close. Impressive to see technology development over time with the naked eye.
Interesting! I wish it could be developed to \experimentarium\, where children and adults can learn something about windmills by practical experiences and physical experiments.
Very nice place. If you like windmills you should go here. You can see one wing on the ground. You can go to tower and see how it looks inside. And you can rent bicycle or charge your car.

I was not aware that this free and very informative visitor center existed. Absolutely worth the visit.
Although the Mills are impressive , as an experiential attraction the test center lacks some more interactivity. The entire area is so beautiful, though, so just take a walk in the surroundings or drive to Hjardemål or Lild or Thorup, and all is good!
