My experience with Greg Sullivan was exceptional. Greg handled everything for my family. It was an easy plan and well orchestrated. I would recommend Thomas Funeral Chapel to everyone. I am especially impressed that Greg offered continued help after the service and after payment was rendered. He made planning easy and special for our loved one. Unfortunately my family has experienced several losses, three of my immediate family members have passed and we used Thomas each time. Greg has been amazing each and every time. He is sympathetic, gets the job done, and he did whatever possible to save us some money. After paying for three funerals, things can be tough. But, he made sure that every time we were able to have a beautiful service. I will always recommend Thomas, you can't buy compassion, and not many places are going to try to save you some money. We will always be grateful to Greg and his family!
I had the opportunity to work with Greg Sullivan over several years and am very happy I did. Greg helped me create a detailed funeral plan and advised me about setting up a funeral trust fund for my late uncle. When my uncle did pass in June 2020, it was a relief to know all the big decisions had been made and that we were in good hands. As his passing came during a period of Covid-19 restrictions, Greg went out of his way to set up a Zoom connection for the Prayer Service inside the funeral home. This ensured friends and relatives who lived out of state or chose not to visit in person were still a part of our service. Greg was very kind, professional, and extremely attentive to our needs. We were so pleased with everything at Thomas Funeral Chapel.
My experience with Thomas Funeral Chapel was excellent. I could have never maneuvered the whole funeral myself. I live in Florida and my mother wanted to be viewed and buried in NY. I had problems with my mothers prepaid insurance plan because the funeral home she first set it up with went out of business. My cousin referred me to Thomas Funeral Chapel and Greg the director contacted the insurance and dealt with all the ins and outs of it and got everything settled. I actually dealt with Greg 5 years earlier when I thought my mother was going to pass away and he was always there to help me and told me I could call him anytime of the day. So when she passed I called him. He contacted the funeral home here in Florida and within a very short amount of time the transport was at my home. She was flown to Rochester and he let me know my mom made it “safely” there, which I appreciated. He coordinated all the arrangements from the church, priest, the cemetary, and the engravers of my parents headstones. Greg gave me advice on flowers and worked with me through email picking out the funeral cards. The inside of the Chapel was decorated nice and had a warm feeling and everyone was comfortable. Also, we were in the middle of the Covid epidemic (October 2020) and they were very good at handling that. With me living out of town added a lot of extra stress to the situation but they made the 2 days run very smoothly . I would highly recommend Thomas Funeral Chapel. They definitely did a good job in handling our situation with a lot of knowledge and care.
