Nice to have a recycling place near us. And it's great to see people recycling, now if only more would do so it would be great.

You take your rubbish here. The getting around once you are inside is kinda chaotic cause some of the folk feel they are more entitled than the rest of us and sometimes getting someone's attention is a pain because they could use another person or 2 working but then our rates would go up and the entitled people would complain about that so. Plan ahead and please don't block the lanes because you don't want tobwait your turn.

I'm new to Thomaston and was warned that I could expect a pretty gruff reception from the workers at the Co-operative Transfer Station. Well, so far I've made three trips to the Xfer Station and on each occasion I found the guy on duty to be really friendly and helpful, even helping to unload my vehicle and carry trash to the container. Five stars to this place!

The guys who run it are excellent, friendly, helpful. A little confusing where plastic and paper go together without plastic bags.

Hope u don't have a job. Perfect hours for a bluecollar worker(sarcasm never comes across well in text). Only thing that's serious bull,is even if you show up well before close, and are in line (inside fence of course) if 4 rolls around plan on getting kicked out....yep. Edit: I've increased my rating because it seems that maybe they've looked at complaints lately because things have improved. There's a couple newer employees that are really nice and helpful (There's still one that seems kinda grumpy but at least he's no longer being rude which is just as good), things seem tidier (is that a word?), and they also seem to be more flexible about kicking u back out as long as you in the gate by 4. Anyways, whoever realized changes needed to be made and did it, thank you.
