La Tortuga

Small flea market but interesting. I personally didn't find anything. The bunnies were cute. Interesting to see so much fish and crabs. Never been to a flea market that had seafood. I was looking for gender neutral baby stuff but nothing. I think my husband would like this place tho.

Most people are super nice and have good produce but.... The animals there are sick, covered in fleas and when they die they just throw them in the back. We asked about one of the puppies (who looked pretty good) and he said it was 7 weeks (not legal buy or sell age in NC) and he wanted 2000 DOLLARS for it. I was shocked. Won't go back there due to the mistreatment and neglect of all the animals.

Wonderful flea market. I live an hour away, but try to come here at least once every other month. The venders sell a variety of things from livestock to puppies and bunnies for pets. Sometimes an older guy would bring ponies for pony rides. There is seafood, fresh vegetables, Mexican food venders, clothes, to electronics. My family really enjoy coming here.
