The main building was under renovations and was not allowed in to see it for safety reasons. The out buildings are wonderful to see. They only asked for donations. There are several other homes dating way back. So the fact that I was not able to see the main home was not a big deal because there ate plenty of other things to see. It is a self guided tour and you really get a feel for the history of the buildings. Highly recommend.

Another one of several neat places to visit in downtown Thomasville. We did a self guided tour and learned about Thomasville's rich history and got a chance to see some really interesting artifacts. I would recommend it to anyone who is exploring downtown with Friends and Family.

It's a nice place to look around. Theres several great buildings in the back. The welcome was not that friendly but it was around lunch time and folks do get hungry. The self guilded tour is 5.00 per adult and guided tours are 8.00 We were not offered a guided tour I guess because of the time. We usually enjoy a guided tour more. It's is worth the time to visit.
