I used this business for a water leak clean up. the cleanup crew was amazing. They were prompt, courteous, professional compassionate. They sent a management team in to make sure protocols were followed. I would rate them 5 stars for their clean up. I decided to use them to do the repairs as well; however that did work out as well, actually it never happened because I had a horrible time getting the estimator to follow through. After two weeks of missed and unreturned calls, the estimator came to do the estimate, and was very thorough. I felt confident that I had chosen the right company to handle my repairs. Unfortunately we never made it to the repair stage because the estimator never followed up with me to give me the estimate. The estimator came to my home March 16th, and agreed to follow up with me on the following Monday. To date I have received nothing. not a phone call, not an email.Nothing. I contacted the estimator on April 3 just to make sure to connect from my end. It is April 16 and I still have not heard back from them. I don’t feel like I should beg a company to pay them my money. This was unfortunate. I wanted to use this company because of their outstanding cleanup service and the high ratings, but unfortunately things did not work out in my favor due to the estimator being non—responsive.

I chose Thompson Builders because of their BBB rating as well as the fact that I saw many positive reviews online. Now I can say that those ratings and reviews did not lead me wrong. They were quick to respond to everything, helpful with getting my insurance to cover everything from our claim and getting the job done in a timely manner, by friendly and knowledgeable people.

The did a great job restoring our basement back to normal. The shots are from before(there was water mitigation equipment in the shot still) and after. We had water damage and Roto Rooter helped mitigate the damage. Ultimately, Thompson Building Associates restored our basement. Super happy with them. Their communication could improve (there was a misunderstanding on when they would start and continue work), but the workers were great and they did everything professionally. Definitely recommend them if your house had water damaged and need restoration services. 5 stars.

Thompson as a whole was very difficult to work with. They didn't start with me during the cleanup as it was an emergency clean-up issue and I had to use someone else. Due to several issues the job took 9 months to completed after they started. It was a kitchen and bathroom job that had water damage. Problems started when they put a hole is a ceiling heat pipe, causing delay. They struggles to get the right cabinet size, which was another delay. They didn't do much wall prep before painting in the kitchen, so it had to be repainted. The good things that happened; they work with me for a credit on flooring and did some added work in the bathroom. However, I have asked several times for the reports from the other contractors that were asked to look at the furnace/air conditioner, electric box and plumbing and still have not received any documentation. My condo was under construction from February 2nd 2020 till March of 2021.

Tony J was amazing. Excellent work and craftsmanship. The job did take a bit longer than expected because Thompson is a bit understaffed but we are satisfied with how our finished basement turned out. Side note: we are going to paint the room ourselves so the room is not completed but Tony from Thompson has completed his job. Thank you so much Tony for making our basement look amazing! Updated photos of finished basement with our paint job completed.

Sent them an email explaining the problem and asked if they could give a free estimate and was told yes. I gave contact info and near the end of the day no call, so I follow up with an email asking when would someone possibly be contacting me. Another prompt reply..."someone will call you by end of day or tomorrow. ", okay acceptable. Within minutes I get a call telling me how busy they are and how they don't have time to give me a free estimate. Honestly it came off rude and unprofessional. I was hoping good things from the reviews but ended up wasting my time and feeling unappreciated.
