Today we visited the amazing city Thorn. it is a unique place because the city is almost entirely composed of white houses, which is not typical for the Netherlands. Its can't-miss attraction is the tenth-century abbey church in the town center. From monastery church to abbey church to parish church and museum. The gothic Abbey Church still dominates the romantic, white town of Thorn. A graceful legacy of 800 years of female rule; here ladies ruled in the highest noble class.

White City of Netherlands.. such a lovely place
Thorn is the \White City\ in the Netherlands. The streets are cobblestone with the most beautiful designs in the cobbles. And all the buildings, both public and private owned, are white with black trim. So beautiful! I spent a whole day taking pictures of this town!
