They treat people worse than cattle. You have to call at 0800 to see a doctor and it's first come first served. This morning I got through to reception after pressing redial constantly for 13 minutes to be told that there were no appointments left. During the 13 minutes I had got through once but they wouldn't answer the phone so it rang out. Register with a veterinary surgeon before you register with these parasites. It's a shame I have to give them a star at all..

I have been registered at this surgery since before Tim Crossley left (I think since 2005) and the Dr's here are fantastic and friendly. I always feel heard and my health is taken seriously. I have had appointments and care from Dr Stone, Dr Mahmood, Dr Adam, Dr Richardson and more recently Dr Maliki (sorry, I may have spelt that wrong). They are prompt at picking up serious health issues and referring to specialists or the hospital for further investigation. Today I spoke with Dr Maliki (female doctor) and she was incredibly understanding and empathic and did not hesitate to put me forward to a specialist. Like any Dr's surgeries, especially in the current climate, they are over stretched and over worked, but I have always ended up getting an appointment after hitting the redial button a number of times. I'm sad to see so many negative reviews for a well run Dr's Surgery with a multi talented team of health care professionals. They are doing their best!

This would be zero stars unfortunately that's not an option. The receptionist has and attitude that makes you want to slap her through the phone.

This surgery in my opinion is one of the worst I have ever experienced. Two of their receptionists were rude and seemed clearly overworked so they take it out on the patients. I have to admit Dr Stone is a good doctor and she should move to another surgery before their bad reputation drags her down. Dr Mahmoud is one of the worst doctors I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. He showed no concern for their medical problems and just wants to move on to the next patient like this was more of a business deal rather than a medical appointment. Some people should not be doctors if they do not want to be there. Dr Stone absolutely could teach Mr Mahmoud a thing or two on how to be a better GP.

I have been at this practice for 30 years and I have always found it to be brilliant, in fact it when I was looking to move house 3 years ago one of my concerns was having to move surgeries as I rate the doctors here very highly. Dr Stone was absolutely fantastic during my cancer treatment, I also see Dr Richardson who is really lovely and Dr Mahmoud (he does his job really well) for other things and they are very good as well. The nurses are lovely. There is a really lovely receptionist (Bal I think sorry if i've got this wrong) who has helped me out. Yes there are issues with appointment bookings but I don't know anyone who doesn't have problems in fact people I know at other surgeries have to wait 2 or 3 weeks for an immediate appointment - I have always been able to get one in 1-2 days. This surgery deals with such a wide range of patients with diverse needs which they should be praised for. Please don't blame the medical staff for any failings which are down to an overstretched and underfunded NHS. Appreciate your doctors and nurses and support staff, where would you be without them.
