I'm assuming this company is also LaSalle Electric because the address and phone # are the same as LaSalle Solar. On October 13, 2015, LaSalle Electric was doing electrical work for the Century movie theaters next to my business complex. The employees of LaSalle Electric trenched too close to the main gas line and punctured a hole which caused the gas company to shut down the line. Well this main line services the businesses next to the movie theater and consequently shut down my gas service. My business relies on natural gas to power my equipment so essentially my production was shut down for 6 hours while the gas company worked to repair the line. And in doing so, I had 4 employees sitting around. I could not send them home because I had work that I needed to finish that day, commitments that I had to fulfill. I contacted Gary, the owner, and explained the situation and asked for help in recovering the payroll that I lost because his employees busted the main gas line. He gave me every excuse under the sun as to why he wasn't at fault. Even though I talked to the foreman on the job and he even said he told LaSalle Electric twice that they were trenching too close to the line and they told him, we know what we're doing, when they clearly didn't. At the end of the day, it wasn't a lot of money. But the principle of the matter is, be responsible for your actions and the actions of your employees. Tells me a lot about the character of LaSalle Electric and should tell you a lot too if you choose to use them.
